UK Science and Innovation

12 octobre - 13 octobre

There are opportunities for developing international R&D collaborations and business
opportunities between Canada and the UK in the AI sector. The UK Science and
Innovation Network in Canada, DIT, Québec’s Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et
de l’innovation, IVADO, Montréal International, CIRANO, and Fasken Martineau will be
convening a two-day programme to explore the UK AI ecosystem and look at developing
those opportunities.In particular, we are looking at:
1. Better understanding and knowledge of the UK AI Ecosystem;
2. Increasing awareness of the UK AI strategy and capabilities; and
3. Strengthening or fostering partnerships between the UK and Canada.
The two-day programme will include a UK/Canada workshop highlighting recent
developments and business opportunities in AI as well as visits to Montreal key
partners. We would like you and your organisation to be part of these activities in Montreal
(12-13 October), as we look to build and develop collaborations and relationships between
the UK and Canada. In addition to these activities, we are planning a three-day event to be
held in the UK on early 2018. We will send you more details nearer the time. Attendees
from Canada are particularly welcome.
