Coordinator - Action Inclusion Pathway
Dina Husseini holds a master’s degree in political science from Université de Montréal. She’s specialized in the evaluation of public policies on civic participation and the fight against exclusion and discrimination experienced by racialized minorities living in a disadvantaged socio-economic context. She has acquired skills in project management, communications, strategic planning and governance. Prior to joining IVADO, she has been working in the political office of the Minister of Immigration, Citizenship and Refugees Canada in Ottawa, in the entrepreneurial milieu, at the City of Montreal, at the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion and in the community milieu at the CDC de Côte-des-Neiges.
Recipient of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec’s Medal for Youth, Dina is engaged in her community to improve the civic participation of youth and women of racialized minorities. Co-founder of Inclusion jeunesse, vice-president of the Philo-Boxe organization, member of the Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum, she contributed to the vice-presidency of the Jeune conseil de Montréal and contributed to initiate and preside the Conseil jeunesse de Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
