Guillaume Poirier has 15 years of experience in high-tech industry segments, chiefly in 3D imaging, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. His experience is diverse and covers software development, product management, R&D, technology transfer, intellectual property, and business development. Mr. Poirier’s contributions to commercialization of multiple university technologies include licensing agreements and creation of spinoff companies. Some notable projects include 3D scanning and digital visualization of the Mona Lisa, the world’s first patient-specific neurosurgery simulator, and a new passive-lightfield 3D imaging technology developed and marketed by Airy3D, a company that he co-founded in 2015. Mr. Poirier holds an MSc in computer science along with an MBA.
