My IVADO Research Project in 180 seconds

The entire IVADO community was invited on April 15th to the presentations of the participants in My IVADO research project in 180 seconds organized by the IVADO Intersectoral Student Committee. Following the presentations and the award ceremony, participants were able to discuss and socialize in our brand new offices in Gather Town. The energy was just as palpable in the presentations as it was in the Draw Me a Picture games that followed.

Were present on our panel of judges for the event:

• Sabrina Giroux, project manager for Acfas
• Laurène Smagghe, President of the Association of Scientific Communicators of Quebec (ACS)
• Guillaume Chicoisne, scientific advisor at IVADO

Their mandate was to evaluate the presentations according to the following criteria: speaking skills, popularization, structuring of the presentation and respect for time (3 minutes). After deliberation, the judges declared Chloé Bourquin and Brice Rauby as winners. Congratulations to them and to all of our participants!

My IVADO research project in 180 seconds will definitely be back next year! In the meantime, you can apply for the My 800 Word Research Project program, the next deadline is June 28, 2021.
