IVADO involved in collective reflection on the creation of responsible AI

The Conseil de l’innovation du Québec, mandated by the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE), has launched a call for public contributions to the debate on the framework for artificial intelligence (AI) in Quebec.

This open and inclusive approach aims to address the various challenges of AI, and identify measures to frame its development and use responsibly. Indeed, this rapidly evolving technology is raising a number of questions, both from specialists and from the citizens.

With the aim of responding to this collective challenge and better anticipating the societal changes that AI is generating, members of IVADO are involved in the reflection proposed by the Conseil de l’innovation du Québec. This mission fits in perfectly with IVADO’s strategic scope within the framework of the R3AI program, which calls for the development of robust, reasoned and responsible AI.

  • Luc Vinet, CEO of IVADO, is co-chair of the “Framework for investment in research and the private sector” committee;
  • Mélanie Bosc, Director of Training, participates in the committee “The framework for the use of AI by the state”;
  • Guillaume Chicoisne, Scientific Advisor, participates in the “Framework for research and private sector investments” committee.
