IVADO-Perimeter Institute-Institut Courtois joint workshop

On November 29 and 30, 2023, the Perimeter Institute will host delegations from IVADO, Institut Courtois and Mila for a collaborative workshop. This event aims to establish strong links between these institutes in order to generate new research projects, scientific events and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Quantum technologies and quantum-inspired methods, chemistry issues related to climate change and materials science will be the main themes of the event. The first day of the workshop will be devoted to presentations of the various groups’ research initiatives. The following day, researchers will take part in discussion groups aimed at identifying joint initiatives and collaborations to be prioritized.

We are confident that this collaboration will have a significant impact on the R³AI initiative, which aims to develop robust, reasoning and responsible artificial intelligence.
