IVADO Fair: record-breaking fall edition
Nearly 1,200 participants registered for the 14th edition of the IVADO Internship and Job Fair, bringing together IVADO’s industry members and qualified candidates from all over Quebec. This record-breaking fall edition, held at Polytechnique Montréal on September 18, was an opportunity for 25 exhibitors, including Desjardins, Air Canada, Pratt & Whitney, Ericsson, etc., to meet tomorrow’s workforce and increase their recruitment pool tenfold. Some exhibitors had themselves been candidates at a previous edition, and were later recruited thanks to the connections established at the Fair.
To better support these young talents in their job or internship search, preparatory workshops led by Elaine Pelletier and Claude Martel were offered on-site, covering essential tools for job searching, optimizing their LinkedIn profile, and preparing for interviews to maximize their chances of success.
The numerous job and internship opportunities created by the IVADO Fair, combined with the fruitful exchanges between emerging talents and industry leaders, will significantly contribute to strengthening and energizing Canada’s AI ecosystem.
