IVADO and Confiance IA join forces to accelerate responsible AI in Quebec

Montreal, December 17, 2024 – IVADO is pleased to announce a partnership with Confiance IA, an industrial consortium dedicated to integrating responsible artificial intelligence (AI) practices that are tailored to the realities of Quebec businesses.

The AI Talent program, a key outcome of this partnership, will be launched in January 2025. It will provide master’s and doctoral students with the opportunity to collaborate with local companies on real-world projects that integrate ethics, sustainability, and responsibility, while helping to tackle the current challenges facing the AI ecosystem.

With this program, IVADO and Confiance IA aim to address three strategic priorities:

  • Foster responsible innovation: by integrating transparent, ethical AI solutions into business processes.
  • Develop tomorrow’s leaders: by providing students with paid, hands-on experience that directly addresses the real-world needs of organizations.
  • Support Quebec SMEs: by facilitating their access to advanced AI expertise, backed by Mitacs funding and favorable terms.

A call for projects

Companies interested in participating in this initiative will be able to submit their projects starting January 7, 2025. Further details on the registration process will be provided shortly.
