Global Workshop on AI and Scientific Computing at UdeM

IVADO and the Centre de recherches mathématiques de Montréal (CRM) invite you to participate in a major scientific event focused on machine learning for scientific computing. This event will be held from June 25 to 27 at the University of Montreal and will bring together specialists from several countries.

Entitled “Accuracy and Efficiency of Machine Learning Methods for Scientific Computing,” the workshop will explore fundamental problems in applying AI to numerical simulations.

Around thirty renowned specialists in physics-informed machine learning (AI methods guided by physical principles) from international institutions will participate in this scientific gathering to present their recent advances in the mathematical analysis of methods using neural networks. The research presented will focus particularly on improving neural network approximations.

You are invited to join this important scientific discussion and explore these questions with us.

Several challenges remain in developing precise and efficient methodologies in this field, and the workshop aims to develop new mathematical theories on error estimation and control.

The event will offer various opportunities for scientific exchange and networking, including a poster presentation session and a reception. The organizers encourage students, research staff, and anyone interested to present their own work at this meeting.
