IVADO joins Mila’s Summer School on Responsible AI and Human Rights in Mexico City in 2026

IVADO announces its participation in the first international edition of the Summer School on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Rights, to be held in Mexico City, Mexico, from May 17 to 22, 2026. This unprecedented international initiative is organized in partnership with Mila and CINVESTAV, Mexico’s leading public advanced research center dedicated to science and technology. 

The Summer School is an intensive five-day program combining theory, practical workshops, and collaborative projects led by world-renowned experts. It offers participants the opportunity to explore key strategic themes—responsible AI, AI governance and ethics, legal frameworks, and the socio-technical dimensions of artificial intelligence—while developing practical skills at the intersection of technological innovation and human rights. 

By partnering with Mila and CINVESTAV, IVADO is contributing to this unique program, which aims to provide a solid theoretical learning framework and practical tools focused on responsible AI, promote interdisciplinarity and scientific diplomacy in addressing global issues, and encourage the creation of international networks of professionals committed to ethics and human rights related to AI.
