IVADO’s Healthcare Systems Strategic Research Cluster launches its first call for participation

The IVADO Health Systems Research Cluster invites the scientific community to submit proposals for projects aimed at developing and implementing multimodal foundational models within the Quebec healthcare system, in order to bridge the gap between fundamental AI research and its practical application in healthcare.

Funding of up to $25,000 per project is available for a one-year, non-renewable period. This call for participation aims to support research projects involving the development or integration of artificial intelligence tools in healthcare in the following areas:

• Therapeutic care
• Management
• Health promotion and surveillance
• One Health

Teams are encouraged to propose innovative, critical, or interdisciplinary approaches related to these themes.

Key dates

• Submission deadline : March 31, 2026 11:59 PM
• Call results : May 1, 2026
• Start of projects: as soon as possible
