IVADO’s Supply Chains and Mobility Systems Strategic Research Cluster Launches a Research Scholarship Programme

The IVADO Supply Chains and Mobility Systems Strategic Research Cluster invites all doctoral students to submit proposals for projects aimed at integrating modern optimization and machine learning methods to improve the efficiency and resilience of supply chains and mobility systems, while reducing their environmental footprint.

Funding of up to $10,000 per project is available for a one-year period, non-renewable. These grants aim to encourage research work aligned with the following five areas:

• Axis 1: Complex uncertainty quantification
• Axis 2: Integrating prediction and optimization
• Axis 3: Accelerating the solution of multi-stage stochastic decision problems
• Axis 4: Developing decision-aware end-to-end optimization
• Axis 5: Integrating endogeneity in decision models

Teams are encouraged to propose innovative, critical, or interdisciplinary approaches related to these themes.

Key dates

• Submission deadline : March 31, 2026 11:59 PM
• Call results : April 15, 2026
• Start of projects: as soon as possible
