IVADO Announces the Recipients of its 2026 Postdoctoral Research Funding Program

Montréal, June 16 – Now in its third year, the IVADO Postdoctoral Research Funding Program supports outstanding researchers whose work will play a key role in advancing and fostering the adoption of the R3AI initiative — New Paradigms for Robust, Reasoning, and Responsible Artificial Intelligence — funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund.

Combining fundamental advances with real-world applications—from model robustness to healthcare, mobility, and energy—the supported projects are helping to advance AI that is more robust, reasoning, and responsible. Driven by a diversity of expertise, this cohort demonstrates strong scientific and societal impact, aligned with the ambitions of R3AI. Each recipient will receive annual funding consisting of an $80,000 salary and a $20,000 research allowance, over a two-year period.
