IVADO’s AI and Neuroscience Research Cluster launches its first call for participation

The IVADO AI and Neuroscience Research Cluster invites the scientific community to submit proposals for research projects as part of the Neuro-Sprint call for participation, which aims to fund short-term initiatives developing, evaluating or integrating artificial intelligence tools in the fields of basic or clinical neuroscience. 

Funding of up to $25,000 per project (non-renewable) is available, and projects must be completed by March 31, 2027. Submitted projects must align with the Cluster’s research program through one of the following objectives: 

• Building tokenization modules for ingesting various types of neuroscience data 

• Creating modules for processing stimuli and behaviors 

• Developing datasets, including simulated datasets, for validating pre-trained models 

• Preprocessing multimodal datasets that can be used for training or validating foundational models. 

Key dates 

• Submission deadline : October 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM 
• Call results : week of October 19, 2026 
• Start of projects: as soon as possible
