AI Perspective Student Program

Are you a student interested in artificial intelligence (AI), whatever your field of study? Discover AI Perspective, a brand-new program of short, hybrid, non-credited and free training courses designed by and for the Quebec student community in French or in English.

Developed in partnership with Université de Montréal, McGill, Université Laval, Polytechnique Montréal, and HEC Montréal.

Objectives

An annual program of training workshops to understand and explore AI through different themes. It aims to:

• bring you up to date on the latest advances in AI technologies,
• offer a learning approach that complements credited programs,
• encourage interdisciplinary crossovers, such as: AI & chemistry, AI & economics, etc.
• equip up-and-coming talent to use AI in all fields.

Who can benefit?

• To train: students from the universities Université de Montréal, McGill, Université Laval, Polytechnique Montréal and HEC Montréal, whatever their cycle or field of study.

How?

Online or hybrid workshops, accessible to all, free of charge.

When?

The following courses are offered in spring:

• Friday, January 30th, 2026, 2 – 4 pm – « Explainable AI in Health » (In English prepared by McGill students)
• Friday, February 6th, 2026, 4 – 6 pm – « Utilisation réfléchie et éthique de l’IA » (In French prepared by olytechnique Montréal students)
• Friday, February 13th, 4 – 6 pm – « Partage et sécurité des données à l’ère de l’IA » (In French prepared by olytechnique Montréal students)
• Friday, February 27th 2026, 4 – 6 pm – « Monte ton réseau de neurones en 2h! » (In French prepared by olytechnique Montréal students)
