Networking event organized by the Intersectoral Student Committee (ISC) on the theme of AI, disinformation, and democracy (4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). This event is preceded by the first part of the workshop Integrating EDI and ethical principles into your research project (2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., for details and registration, follow this link).
In the wake of the November 2 municipal elections and about a year before the next provincial elections, the ISC invites you to a networking event on the theme of AI, democracy, and disinformation. This event will take place in three phases: a round table discussion with experts, a period of discussion with the speakers, and a networking period with all participants. We look forward to seeing you there!

- How is disinformation created?
- Is it possible to distinguish between deliberate action and algorithmic hallucination?
- What is the future of viral fake images/videos? What is the current state of legislation in Quebec and Canada?
