Amélie Côté

Knowledge mobilization advisor

Before joining IVADO, Amélie Côté worked at Unity Technologies as the first university recruiter in Canada to develop relationships with campuses across the country and coordinate hiring students from Bachelor’s to doctoral degrees as the company prepared for significant growth. Unity’s platform is a global reference for creating and operating interactive 3D content in real-time. She then became a global program manager for university relations within the recruitment team. She collaborated with various technical teams in software development and artificial intelligence to attract and retain student talent, particularly for creation tools (video games, animation, digital twins, robotics, etc.) or monetization (advertising and in-app purchases). She contributed to the inclusion and diversity strategy and served on the “Social Impact” and “Learning” committees for the entire company.

Amélie Côté holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Modern Languages from Laval University (2006) and a DESS in International Cultural Cooperation supplemented by a Master’s degree in Management of Cultural Enterprises and Institutions from the University of Barcelona (2009). Before joining Unity, her professional journey led her since 2007 to work in international relations, public, cultural and academic affairs, career development as well as innovation at the Quebec Office in Barcelona, MUTEK, the Festival TransAmériques (FTA), LOJIQ (MRIF), the Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation at McGill University and the Quartier de l’Innovation in Montreal.

Today, drawing on this diversified background, Amélie is pleased to join IVADO to have a local and international impact as a knowledge mobilization advisor for responsible artificial intelligence.
