Camille Rondeau Saint-Jean

After studying the flute at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, Camille obtained a master’s degree in musicology from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. Passionate about the functioning of ecosystems, she chose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in ecology at the Université de Sherbrooke. It was during an internship that she discovered bioacoustics, a field that combines her interests in cultural sound phenomena and animal behavior. In September 2021, she started a master’s degree at the Université de Montréal where she is learning to train a deep neural network to study individual differences and dialects in the song of Meadow Sparrows.
