François Leduc-Primeau is assistant professor of Electrical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. He completed his MEng and PhD studies at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of McGill University in 2010 and 2016 respectively. His principal research interests lie in analysis and design of algorithms for hardware implementation, more specifically in development of novel approaches to improving energy efficiency of digital systems. He has extensive expertise in analysis and implementation of error-correction codes (particularly LDPC codes) and in telecommunications systems in general. He is also interested in machine learning algorithms, their implementation on embedded systems, and their potential role in telecommunications systems.
