Junior Momo Ziazet

PhD student in Computer science

After studying engineering in Cameroon, Junior specialized in data science at the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) where he obtained an IVADO fellowship for a 4-month research internship under the supervision of Dr. Brigitte Jaumard and Dr. Sebastien Le Digabel. Today, he is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Concordia University where he is working on deep learning approaches for resource optimization in optical and 5G networks. Specifically, he is developing methods for predicting network traffic and using them in decision making to minimize network resource usage. Junior enjoys collaborating with scientists from different fields to learn new skills and solve new challenges. His dream is to see Africa proudly solving its problems with solutions provided by its people.
