AI-Driven Resilience in Agrifood: Optimizing Operations in Quebec’s Online Grocery Platforms

Our project focuses on various quality grades of farm products, aiming to address the challenge of substitutions when exact quality requirements are unmet. To model the order fulfillment process, we plan to develop a bipartite queueing system and adapt fluid approximation techniques for analyzing the system dynamics. By utilizing extensive operational data, we aim to develop an AI-driven decision support system dedicated to optimizing service capacity rationing—specifically, farmland allocation—and inventory replenishment strategies.
