PhD student in biomedical engineering
Laura has been co-chairing the committee since 2020. She is a Montrealer and IVADO fellow in the third year of her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering, her research focuses on improving the treatment of refractory epilepsy. More specifically, the development of algorithms, based on machine learning and signal processing, to predict epileptic seizures in collaboration with the CHUM Research Center. She is passionate about science communication, sports, medical technology and space exploration.
