My lab tackles questions surrounding human health from a mechanistic/biological perspective, using and developing (as needed) statistical and computational tools, and machine learning techniques. Specifically, we disentangle patterns to identify genetic contributors for human traits that are a result of a combination of many genes and the environment. We are focused on disorders of the brain and heart, and the interplay between these two biological systems.
