PhD student in Cognitive neurosciences

Simon Faghel-Soubeyrand is completing a Ph.D. in computational and cognitive-neuroscience at the Université de Montréal. His work revolves around the perceptual and neural mechanisms underlying individual differences in human vision, wherein he uses a combination of neuroimaging and machine/deep learning to probe brain function in a range of different populations. He helped found CerebrUM’s Student Committee, and has joined IVADO’s CIÉ since the end of 2021 to support and promote the interests of its diverse student body.
