Since 2018, IVADO holds its Internship and Job Fair in Artificial Intelligence and its Applications twice a year. The Fair aims to facilitate meetings between internship/job applicants and the digital intelligence ecosystem.

For candidates, this day is an opportunity to meet in person with representatives of various IVADO member and partner companies and organizations and to learn about internship and job opportunities in their areas of interest.
For companies, it is a unique opportunity to stand out and present their organizations as well as the internship and job opportunities available. It is also an opportunity to recruit among the best digital intelligence talent in Quebec. Available exclusively to IVADO members.

Advice to candidates

Wanted: qualified candidates in artificial intelligence, computer science, machine learning, software and computer engineering, data science and operations research.
Make a good impression: write your CV carefully and share it online on the platform.
Get ready: click on the exhibitors’ logos to find the ones that correspond to your areas of interest so you can prepare to discuss with them.

Learn how to attract the attention of employers in artificial intelligence with advice from our speaker Elaine Pelletier, Professional Development Consultant at the Université de Sherbrooke. You’ll learn tips and tricks to improve your online visibility on the LinkedIn platform, and how to tailor your profile to the job or internship you’re looking for.

11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. : Flash workshop – Preparing for an interview with an AI employer (Speaker : Claude Martel)

Interviews are a prerequisite for internships and jobs. Learn how to negotiate this important step in your career path with our speaker Claude Martel, headhunter and executive recruiter in Canada and internationally for the Morgan Philips Group.

11:30 a.m. – noon : Flash Workshop – Come and pitch your background!

Take advantage of this opportunity to pitch your career path to our two speakers, and get their feedback before pitching yourself to employers at the Fair.
