IVADO-Inria Initiative: Franco-Quebec Exchange Semester on Artificial Intelligence

IVADO and Inria are pleased to launch the first edition of the IVADO-Inria Initiative: Franco-Quebec Exchange Semester on Artificial Intelligence, a joint effort to strengthen collaboration between AI research communities in France and Quebec.

This program provides financial support for research stays of 2 to 5 weeks between mid-June and mid-November 2025, enabling Quebec-based researchers to travel to France and French-based researchers to travel to Quebec. Projects must fall within the field of artificial intelligence and are particularly encouraged in the following areas: AI and health, trustworthy and responsible AI, machine learning, natural language processing, AI and materials science, AI and the environment, and AI for supply chains and mobility systems.

A kickoff event will take place in Paris during the week of 9th of June, followed by a scientific closing conference in Montreal during the Fall. 

Researchers interested in participating are invited to submit their applications by May 30, 2025. Full details on eligibility, funding, research themes, and application procedures are available HERE.
